I am a jobbing carver, so I earn my income from what I produce. The prices I charge are reflective of the complexity of the individual peice and the time it takes me to do. I therefore, price each job individually. Prices may range from a few hundred euros to a few thousand.I like to meet with potential buyers and discuss with them what it is that they want. My commissioned work is therefore a compromise between what I feel as a sculptor and what the buyer has envisaged in their minds. The price for non-commissioned work, i.e., work that I have produced my self depends, not only, on the complexity of the peice and time it has taken to produce it, but also the value I personally hold for the peice.
